Tata Steel Noamundi Run-a-thon

Organiser's Note

Its back. 5th edition of Noamundi Run-a-thon to be held on 17th November 2024

The season of running is back. Tata Steel’s Noamundi Run-a-thon is back to rejuvenate you. 

The signature event of Tata Steel’s Ore Mines & Quarries (OMQ) Division will be kicked off from Sports Complex, Noamundi at 6 AM onwards.

Noamundi Run-a-thon 2024 will be held in 10 K and 7 K categories for men and women, 5 K run for boys and girls under the age of 16 years from schools and colleges, and 2 K run for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs).

GENERAL INFORMATION

• All confirmed participants are required to collect their goodie-bag containing T-Shirt, RFID, BIB Chip & refreshment coupon from Noamundi Sports Complex between November 13 to 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. 
• Outstation participants can collect their goodie-bag on November 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM from Noamundi Sports Complex.

Please present the following for collecting the goodie bag at Distribution Counter:-

a. Original payment receipt for non on-line registration.
b. Receipt / SMS / Email for on-line registration.
c. Birth certificate (Matric / Municipality / Notified Area / BDO) should be provided with the registration form.

• First Aid and water facilities will be provided by the organiser.
• Refreshment to be collected from the Refreshment Counter at Noamundi Sports Complex on the day of the event.
• All finishers in 10 K (Men within 85 minutes & Women within 95 minutes) will be awarded medals.
• Maximum 5000 participants will be registered on the first come first serve basis. Registration will close after attaining the above figure.

How to Reach Noamundi

• Road: Noamundi in West Singhbhum district of Jharkhand, is well connected by road. The town is 120 km from Jamshedpur  and 230 km from Ranchi. One can also reach Noamundi via Joda/Barbil in Keonjhar district of Odisha, which is 30 km away. 
• Rail: Noamundi (NOMD), under South East Railway, is connected through rail. The nearest railway stations from which one can board train to reach Noamundi are – Kharagpur (188 km), Bhubaneswar (213 km), Khurda Road Jn (223 km), Howrah (295 km), Tata Nagar (120 km), Chakradharpur (70 km), Rourkela (92 km), Ranchi (230 km). There are several Passenger and Express trains available for Noamundi.
• Flight: Noamundi is not connected by air. The airports, connected to reach Noamundi are – Ranchi (230 km), Jamshedpur (120 km), Bhubaneswar (213 km). 

Rules / Event Conditions

ENTRY RULES AND GUIDELINES

Note: Participation for Indian National only.

1. Registration is now OPEN.

2. An applicant can apply for only one race.

3. Duplicate application of same participant will be rejected.

4. All participants must report outside the Noamundi Sports Complex.

5. Elite runner please mention your previous best time of race category (Please attach performance certificate of previous best time).

6. Athletes will be allotted different colour coding BIB numbers as per race category / distance.
