Event Organiser: Rotary Belagavi Half Marathon / Rotary Venugram Charitable Foundation Get Inspired. Get Connected.

1. Registration, Eligibility & Communication

1.     Choose carefully: Confirmed registrations are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be modified. Provide a secure email ID and mobile number accessed regularly.

2.     Whitelist emails: Add rotarybhm@gmail.com and no-reply@runindia.in to your address list to prevent missing critical confirmation or race updates.

3.     SMS updates: Updates sent to your registered mobile number are official; bulk SMS provider terms apply.

4.     Official notices: Any notice sent to your registered email address is legally deemed received.

5.     Data hygiene: Fill out only necessary fields; do not duplicate data (e.g., repeating city in province/country fields).

6.     Minor registrations: Parents/guardians signing for applicants under 18 must sign the waiver, state their relation, and apply adult rules to the minor.

7.     Group entries: Minimum 10 individual entries from a training/running group. All must meet age eligibility. Apply via rotarybhm@gmail.com. No authorized third-party collectors exist.

8.     Discrepancies: Discrepancies in mandatory requirements result in application rejection. Line-up criteria are indicative and subject to post-registration updates.

2. Health, Safety & Liability Waiver

1.     Extreme sport acknowledgment: Long-distance running carries inherent health risks. You take full responsibility and hold the organizing committee harmless.

2.     Medical clearance: Consult a physician and complete a full medical examination prior to participation.

3.     Assumed risks: Includes falls, contact with participants, weather (heat, humidity, rain), traffic, road conditions, arson, or terrorist threats.

4.     No liability: Organizers bear no liability for lost/damaged personal belongings, illness, or injury.

5.     Compliance: Abide by organizer instructions for health and event safety.

6.     Media rights: Name and media recordings during participation may be used for event publicity.

7.     Force majeure: Organizers may stop/cancel/postpone the event due to adverse weather, major incidents, or authority restrictions (non-refundable). Organizers may reject applications (full refund minus bank charges for rejections only).

8.     Cut-off enforcement: Runners must stay off the course past cut-off times.

9.     No show: No refunds for failing to turn up on race day.

10.  Training plans: Optional training plan success/failure is sole responsibility of the participant.

3. Bib Collection & Verification

1.     In-person collection: Bibs must be collected personally or via written in-absentee consent.

2.     Representative limits: Representatives may collect for only ONE participant (Half Marathon/10K/5K/Family Run).

3.     Representative requirements: Must carry (a) website confirmation and (b) photo ID (Aadhar card, PAN card, or passport of the representative and confirmed participant).

4.     Verification & disqualification: Identity/residence may be verified. Incorrect documents/info result in withheld participation, disqualification, forfeiture of fees/benefits, and disqualification from the subsequent 2027 edition.

5.     Bib screening: Post-race visual screening for correct bib usage. Misuse results in disqualification for the participant and 2027 edition, plus potential legal action for impersonation and data sharing with other organizers.

4. Philanthropy Partner Data Sharing

●      Data shared: Name, email ID, address, PAN number (if provided).

●      Purpose: Donation receipt/acknowledgment generation.

5. Fees, Payments & Refunds

●      Non-confirmed entries: Refunded on or before 10th Dec 2026 via registration team bank detail link. Refund queries not entertained after Nov 25th, 2026.

●      Confirmed participant medical/unavoidable cancellations: Write to info@runindia.in Refund subject to processing charge deductions. No cancellations/refunds post Nov 25th, 2026. No refunds for non-participation/uncollected expo bibs.

●      Free programs/courses/runs:

○      If utilized and cancelled later: No cancellation/refund permitted.

○      If NOT utilized and cancelled: Considered subject to processing fee deductions.

●      Right to participate: Sole discretion of event promoter; non-transferable. Awards/accolades info available on the event website.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

●      Service provided "as is" and "as available".

●      Organizers, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors disclaim all warranties (express or implied), including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

●      No liability for indirect, consequential, or direct loss/damage arising from service use/interpretation.

●      No warranty that service/software meets requirements, runs uninterrupted/error-free, or delivers accurate results. Downloaded materials are at your sole risk. Oral/written advice creates no extra warranty.

Fees, Payments & Refunds
