Rules / Event Conditions

“ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS & INDEMNITY AGREEMENT”

This must be signed for an Acceptance of your Entry

1. I have understood the risk and responsibility of participating in the “U3 Monsoon Miniathon”, hereinafter referred to as “Event” and will be participating entirely at my/his/her own risk and responsibility
2. I have given true and complete information in this application form and me/my ward/ am is solely responsible for the accuracy of this information.
3. I am aware that any Event, whether in civilized or remote areas contains some inherent risks of illness, injury or death. The same may be a result of negligence of others, myself, forces of nature or other agencies known or unknown. I recognize that such risks may be present at any time before, during and after the Event that I am participating in under the arrangements of U3 Monsoon Miniathon, being organized by by U3 Sports Club in association with Sankalp Seva Mandal, Sai Jalaram, its agents or associates. I am also aware that medical services may not be readily available or accessible during some or all the time while I am participating in the Event.
4. I understand that I/my ward must have an appropriate fitness level to participate in such a physically challenging Event
5. I/my ward understand and agree to the Event terms and guidelines

Release: In consideration for the right to participate in the Event, which is organized by U3 Sports Club in association with Sankalp Seva Mandal, Sai Jalaram, I agree to the terms of this Acknowledgement of Risks, Release of Liability & Indemnity Agreement. I have and do hereby fully assume all risk of illness, injury or death. ( I understand that the Event includes certain inheritant and other risks including, but not limited to , high altitude sickness, falling or slipping, landslides, rock fall, vehicular traffic or any other natural calamity that may occur during the Event etc) whether they are known or unknown. These risks cannot be eliminated and I willingly assume these risks. I understand that these risks may result in bodily injury (including paralysis), death or damage to property. I also understand and that I will not hold U3 Monsoon Miniathon Committee persons, Officials and volunteers and all other associates, agents or employees liable of negligence in the event of any accident that may occur due to the negligence of me or any other participant on account of not following instructions or due to such acts done   which are outside the Event for which I am participating.

Furthermore I hereby release and discharge U3 Monsoon Miniathon, Committee persons, Officials and volunteers and all other associates, agents or employees from all actions, claim or demands from damages resulting out of my participation in the Event. I agree that the foregoing obligation shall be binding upon me personally as well as upon my heirs, executors, administrators and all member of my family (including any minor accompanying me).

Authorization and Agreement: I hereby authorize any medical treatment deemed necessary in the event of any injury while participating in this Event. I agree to pay all costs of rescue and /or medical services as may be incurred on my/our behalf.

Terms & Conditions - U3 Monsoon Miniathon 2018

1. Age limits – These must be adhered to strictly and the organizer has the right to verify the age of runners before, during and after the race.
2. Before sending in your application, please ensure that all information as requested in the form has been provided with else your application will not be accepted.
3. All applicants must agree and sign the “Risk and Indemnity Agreement”. And if an applicant is below the age of 15 years, the guardian has also signed the ‘waiver’ and written his/her relation with the applicant.
4. Entries not accepted: Participation in the event is subject to entry confirmation. If your entry is not confirmed for any reason, the application fees paid by you will not be refunded.
5. Requests for cancellation will not be entertained post 5^th August 2018. Any cancellations received prior to 5^th August 2018 will be accepted and registration fee will be refunded back through bank transfer only after deducting Rs 50 as processing charges.
6. Transfer or change of race categories is permitted, but participants will be charged Rs 100 towards processing charges. There are no refunds of fee if you transfer / change races or categories.
   
    
7. BIB number and collection of bibs:
   1. Your official race BIB number is important. Therefore please ensure that it is displayed during the entire race.
   2. Do not alter the Bib number in any manner
   3. Bib numbers are not transferable
   4. No one else may wear your bib number
   5. The bib number must be pinned properly to the front of your t-shirt and clearly visible
   6. Folding or covering any part of your bib number may result in disqualification
   7. Do not forcefully bend, crease or fold your bib

1. Timing Chips:

• U3 Monsoon Miniathon will use a timing chip for the timed races.
• Timing chips must be attached to your BIB/Shoes to score the race as per instructions provided.
• This timing chip must be worn on the race day, attached properly to the BIB/Shoes.
• The chip must be attached from Start to Finish in order to be recognized as completing the race and receiving an official finish time.
• The timing chip identifies your bib number and should not be worn by any other entrant.

1. All confirmed participants are required to come to “Bhoir Plaza, Highland Road, Yashaswi Nagar, Dhokali, Thane West.” to collect their running number bibs (and timing chips). No running number bib or timing chip will be posted to individual mailing address. It is mandatory for registered participants of all to collect their running number bibs,timing chips & T-Shirts in person.
2. Race day images of all the races of the participants will be screened visually after the race. Where any of the participants is found not wearing the running bib allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of this event.
3. Should the event be cancelled due to circumstances beyond the control of the Organizer or force majeure, a refund of 50% of the registration fee will be made before 30 Septemberr 2018, and the Organizer shall have no further responsibility and/or liability thereafter.
4. Instructions by the Organizer and race officials must be followed with respect to all matters not provided herein. The Organizer reserves the right to reject applications of participants who refuse to follow instructions of the race officials.
5. Official Time and Net Time (with Start and Finish times) will be provided for participants who have completed the races within the specified time limits.
6. Participants must ensure that they are medically and physically fit to participate in the race. Any person who is suffering from any chronic disease such as heart disease or high blood pressure should not participate in the event. The Organizer reserves the right to disallow / disqualify any person who is known or suspected to be physically unfit to participate in the event.
7. The application form and the right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this application form is at the sole discretion of the event promoters, U3 Monsoon Miniathon, and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances. The actual applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising out of such confirmation of participation.
