Pune International Marathon Trust (PIMT) is organiser annual foot race held in Pune. It all started in the year 1983; it was the first edition and the first ever Indian International Marathon. PIMT attracts many international participants, who compete with national and local runners. More than a million runners since taken part in the various races of Pune International Marathon since 1983 that include Late Rajiv Gandhi, Late Milkha Singh, P T Usha, Kapil Dev, Leander Paes and many bollywood celebrities and dignitaries.
